5 Questions for God

Category: faithSteve @ 10:04 am

Hokule’a at My Wide Blue Seas posts an interesting meme: what five questions would you ask God? Maybe I’m still struggling with the whole “God is the omnipotent Creator and I am His creation so how do I dare ask Him questions” thing. But He is also Abba, Daddy, so I guess it’s okay.

  1. Since believers will spend eternity in Heaven (and that’s a looonnngggg time), what will we be doing?
  2. We will have new, glorified bodies and will be given the privilege of eating from the Tree of Life (Rev 2:7, Gen 2:9). I interpret the Tree of Life to be Christ. What else will we eat? Who cooks? We’ll have physical bodies, but will we need physical food?
  3. Will we care about when the earth was created?
  4. Who let them in here? (Okay, I’m joking. I think we may be surprised at who is there and who is not. Doubtless some will be surprised that we are there!)
  5. Will all believers get to meet everyone? I’d especially like to talk to Peter.

  1. says:

    Good questions
I think we all think about those things off and on..
for Question 1. my answer is … if the only thing we do for all eternity is just worship in God’s presence that would be enough for me …
I guess God has something planned for us :-) I somehow doubt its the kind of sensual paradise other religions (singular) describe, though.
    Bless ya
