Give Up Starbucks for Dunkin Donuts?

Category: miscellaneous, news and politicsSteve @ 18:20 pm

Mmmmn, donuts...Bloodthirsty Liberal channels a Michelle Malkin piece on Starbucks’ ongoing issues with minor concepts like capitalism, border security and the like.

Over the past weeks, however, Starbucks has left an increasingly bad taste.

David Boaz wrote of the company’s ridiculous policy barring gift card purchasers from customizing personalized cards with the phrase “Laissez Faire.”

Then there’s the price. A grande caramel macchiato puts you out $5. Two or three of those a week adds up. And in these times, every penny counts.

Lots of other consumers are coming to the same conclusion. Starbucks’ profits are down 28 percent.

I’ve always liked Dunkin’ Donuts coffee better, anyway. And as unapologetic supporters of immigration enforcement, they deserve your business and mine so much more.

Dunkin’: Tastes good, cheaper, and good for national security. Drink up!

Unfortunately the nearest DnD is halfway across town, while Starbots are metastasizing on every corner.

You have to try ‘Gathering Grounds,’ well, now called Ambrosia. (they changed ownership a while back.

You can’t miss it. It’s in the strip mall on the south side of Hwy 55 just as you’re entering Rockford.

    I think you’ll like it.

Oh. I didn’t know that Starbucks had anything to do with border security.

You do realize that this is incredibly stupid, don’t you?

  4. Steve says:

It’s simple – you support the organizations and companies that share your ideals. Starbots doesn’t, Dunkin’ Donuts does.

I gave up Starbucks two years ago when I found out that they supported the gay/lesbian, transvestites parades on the west coast. Starbucks response, “we have a deverse customer base.

Dunkin doughnuts coffee is consistent, bland, overpriced when price checked, by the bag, in Safeway stores,
and booring! Anyone that says Dunkin’s coffee is better, certa
intly has no palete for coffee. And is just use to the convenience of Dunkin. (On the East Coast) not on the West.
