It was a close call between Christo and LOTR. I've read the Dickens' books, but that was back in high school, they're off my radar screen now. I haven't read the other two, but I'll check our library and give them a go. I've been reading fantasy fiction for about 5 years now, and my favorite authors have been David Eddings and Raymond Feist. I'd have a hard time picking a top 10, let alone a top 5. I'd rather pick some of my all time favorite authors: James Clavell, Leon Uris, Robert Ludlum, Tom Clancy, J.R.R., Dumas.
